Mosquito - 1974 to 1977 & 1985 to 1987

In May 2007, a visitor of this website (A. Bacon) sent me an e-mail to let me know that one of its customers (Mrs Martin) had a Mosquito and had even owned two for several years.

These Mosquitos were GWL208S and GWL608S you can see on this page.

Regarding GWL208S, it was sold several years ago in an auction and since no one has trace of it.

Regarding GWL608S, I tried in vain to get more information, even through contact with his owner (Mrs Martin) but all these applications were unsuccessful to date in June 2011. A certain Mr Dew, a friend of Mrs Martin, sent me some pictures of GWL608S, explaining that he had given Mrs Martin a hand to put the Mosquito out of a long sleep of... 27 years! Mrs Martin have decided to part with her Mosquito. It is thanks to Mr Dew that I could get full details and photos of GWL608S. I even got a copy of the V5, providing me accurate informations.

GWL608S is a second hand. Its first owner was Robert Moss then he sold it to Mr and Mrs Martin in 1982. This Mosquito is equipped with a 850 cc engine and has been stored away for 27 years. It is in relatively good condition for age.

UPDATE: October 2013: GWL608S has changed hands via ebay and has left UK. It is now in Belgium. The new owner is Kris V., who also owns the Green Triad.
